Description
Cannabinoid receptors have been discovered in our skin cells, and other parts of the skin, such as the hair follicles, small nerves, and immune cells.
When CBD topical is applied to the skin, it is absorbed through our pores and reaches and interacts with the receptors near where the topical was applied.
Your endocannabinoid system (ECS) consists of two major cannabinoid receptors including:
- CB1 – found abundantly in the brain and are involved in the modulation of emotion, memory, pain, movement, and the autonomic and endocrine system.
These receptors are the main target for THC cannabinoids. - CB2 – found mainly in immune cells and not highly expressed in your central nervous system, which is why it doesn’t give mind-altering effects. CB2 receptors modulate nerves, neuroinflammation, chronic inflammation, pain, and mood.
Directions: Apply directly to affected areas. Day or night. Repeat as needed to restore and rejuvenate the appearance of skin. Apply topically as needed. For external topical use only.
